Robert grew up in the Mid-Hudson Valley. He played several organized sports including wrestling, baseball, and football. During his time attending Binghamton University, he co-founded the fraternal order Theta Delta Chi and was elected to several Chair positions.
After graduating from college, he worked with a public relations consulting firm from New York City that provided counseling and general consulting services for candidates’ political campaigns for seats ranging from state-level seats to federal level seats. He built and maintained relationships with journalists, public personalities, and media organizations throughout New York and the Tri-State area.
While attending Syracuse Law School, he participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic, serving indigent clients in the Syracuse community. Also, he was a law clerk in the Wayne County Public Defender’s Office, in Lyons, New York.
